K-Drama in Real Life
This photo was taken during my winter exchange program in Seoul, Korea in December 2023. While walking along the Han River, I noticed this couple strolling hand in hand — the man in military uniform, the woman in a long black coat. It instantly reminded me of the iconic K-drama 'Descendants of the Sun', a show I loved. There was something effortlessly emotional about this moment — not staged, not posed, but deeply expressive. It felt like life imitating art, a tender parallel to stories we've only seen on screen.

Han River Solitude
This was taken on the same day I walked the stretch of the Han River during my winter exchange in Seoul. After walking for quite some time, I took a break and sat down to rest. That's when I noticed this schoolgirl a few benches ahead — completely engrossed in her phone, seemingly untouched by the world around her. There was something so peaceful and unbothered about her posture, the way the sunlight brushed her coat, and how the quiet river mirrored that stillness. It reminded me that not every photo needs to shout — sometimes, it's the silence that lingers the longest.

Beekkant Stillness
This was taken in Brussels while waiting for a train to a nearby town. The station was mostly empty, and as I looked across the tracks, I noticed a couple sitting alone on the opposite platform. The glowing advertisement behind them, combined with the harsh ceiling lights and rows of red seats, gave the scene an almost cinematic, sci-fi look. There was something beautifully static about the moment — a brief pause in motion in an otherwise fast-moving world. It reminded me how city life often gives you small pockets of stillness when you're not looking for them.

Urban Stillness
Taken during a weekend trip to Brussels with friends, this photo was the result of a slow afternoon wandering the city by foot. We had no set plan — just walking and exploring. I stumbled upon this lone man fishing quietly in the canal, standing in front of a massive graffiti mural shouting the word 'INTERNET'. The contrast between the subject's solitude and the bold, chaotic backdrop felt almost poetic. It reminded me of how stillness and noise often coexist in city life, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.

Connected Moments
This photo was taken on a train ride through Switzerland while exploring the country with my extended family. It was a completely accidental shot — I noticed this couple across from me, softly lit as the train passed through a tunnel. Their faces reflected a genuine, quiet curiosity in whatever they were viewing together, and I quickly captured it through the glass panel separating us. The subtle reflections, framing, and mood made this one of my favorite candid shots. It reminds me that some of the best photos aren't planned — they just happen when light, timing, and human presence align.

Golden Hour Portrait
This was taken during a special trip to London while my girlfriend was visiting me during my internship in Paris. We were exploring the London Museum when golden light streamed through the ceiling windows, casting a warm spotlight on the bridge staircase. I asked her to stand in the center, right under the sunbeam—and the result was this serene, radiant portrait. It's one of those moments that felt effortless yet deeply personal, capturing not just light, but a memory.
